Momofuku gives back with Wellfare

Last week, Wellfare hosted the team from Momofuku, the popular restaurant group and pantry staples brand, at our Brooklyn HQ to help pack Better Boxes. Over the course of the morning, the group completed a record-breaking fulfillment run, packing out 270 boxes with over $70,000 worth of premium groceries for families in need. In addition to the day of service, Momofuku also made a generous financial contribution to help support the growth of our program. Awesome!

"At Momofuku Goods, we aim to redefine the American pantry by giving home cooks access to essentials that make cooking more fun, enjoyable, and delicious," said Amy Garza Lee, Project Manager at Momofuku. "In keeping with that ethos, we looked no further than our backyard to partner with Wellfare and commit our volunteer efforts with a nonprofit whose mission is in line with ours. We’re in awe of the work Wellfare is doing to fight food insecurity, and our team was grateful to contribute to a small part of that effort."
