HSS, the Nets, Liberty and Wellfare host first Wellness Day in Brooklyn

As part of their Eat & Move Better partnership, Wellfare, HSS, the Nets and Liberty hosted their first ever Eat & Move Better Wellness Day earlier this month in Brooklyn.

Members of the community had the opportunity to participate in a full day of programming presented by HSS that included free in-person fitness classes like yoga, pilates and tai chi; free blood pressure screenings with clinicians; and tabling with health and wellness resources on topics such as nutrition, lupus support and assistance with public insurance. Wellfare made sure everyone was fueled up with nutritious snacks and drinks and the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty held a raffle for signed items.
