The Hunter College New York City Food Policy Center has released its annual class of New York City’s 40 individuals under 40 years old who are working to transform and improve the food system. Our founder Cole Riley was selected this year!
"I'm honored to join such an incredible collective this year," said Riley. "Our work here at Wellfare is just getting started, and these types of touch points and accolades help us immensely in growing awareness around our mission, Better Box program and long-term aim for to solve food insecurity."
The Center’s Class of 2023 honorees include policymakers, educators, community advocates, and innovators who are making significant strides to create healthier, more sustainable food environments and to use food to promote community and economic development. A recognition event will take place at Hunter College on June 8. To see the entire list and hear more from Cole, head here.
