The NBA season may not kickoff until next month, but Wellfare was already courtside this week, announcing a new partnership with the Brooklyn Nets!
The Nets’ performance on the court may be the stuff of legends but it’s their work off the court that’s got our attention. The franchise is joining forces with Wellfare to help get healthier food into Brooklyn’s low-income communities and raise the standard of health & wellbeing in the borough.
While the Nets may feature some of the league’s best players like Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, it was their staff putting up All-Star stats this past week during their Annual Give Back Day at Barclays Center. Team members from across five departments came together to pack over $50,000 worth of healthy food into Wellfare boxes destined for Bushwick’s public housing community. Team work, efficiency and collaboration were all on display as the Nets staff delivered in crunch time!
This Brooklyn Nets join Wellfare as a Giveback Partner.
